Bud is a fantastic area for fishing and boat trips. Rent one of our boats and get good tips for where you can take the trip.
With us you can also rent a shuttle boat with a captain for fishing trips or to experience the nearby islands. We are a registered fishing camp and can help with customs papers for our guests.

We have sea fishing rods for hire, but you have to take care of your fishing luck. Anything you want to tie in the line of a drain or similar can be bought at the reception.

Guided trips with "Øystein" & "Randi"
Our captains are ready to take you out on a guided fishing trip to secure dinner, or shuttle you to Bjørnsund and Ona for fantastic experiences and a good meal. The possibilities are many! Tours with “Øystein” & “Randi” must be booked in advance and contact information can be found here.
Fishing equipment
At the reception you can find a wide selection of equipment for sea fishing, so if the lure breaks on a fishing trip, there is no danger. But the fishing luck – you have to take care of that yourself.
The best tips
At the reception you will get good tips and a sea map of the best fishing spots. You can buy all fishing equipment at our shop. The campsite is a perfect starting point for a boat trip to beautiful Ona and Bjørnsund.
In summer, we recommend a trip out to the islets right outside the campsite to barbecue, swim and snorkel in the clear water.
Safety is paramount
Your safety is very important to us. That is why we require an approved boat driving test when you rent a boat, those born before 01.01.1980 do not need the boat driving test.
We will give you an introduction to the waters around the campsite, but you must also familiarize yourself with the sea map for the area. We also recommend that you have travel insurance for your peace of mind.
